The Safari 6.0.1 update was not in the OS X 10.7.5 combo update I installed. However, after updating the OS, the Safari update did show up in Software Update, as did iPhoto 9.4.

FWIW, I just DL'd both Safari 6.0.2 and iPhoto 9.4.2 via the App Store and all was without issue. Well, so far anyway. Apparently, the earlier DL issue has been resolved. Safari 6.0.2 seems normal,...
